Genesis Mission of Hope is committed to improving health, wellness and quality of life for individuals and families, particularly in underserved Michigan communities.
Working with healthcare systems, universities, corporations, foundations, faith-based organizations and community partners, Genesis is developing initiatives focused on three primary areas.
Community Health & Mobile Wellness
Expanding access to preventive healthcare and wellness resources in underserved communities.
Genesis seeks to expand access to preventive healthcare, health screenings, wellness education and community outreach through mobile health units, community health fairs and other community-based services.
Our goal is to secure grants, corporate support and strategic partnerships that can help expand mobile health and wellness services and bring resources directly into communities where they are needed.

Mental Health & Emotional Wellness
Expanding access to resources that support mental and emotional well-being.
Genesis seeks to support programs that improve access to mental-health resources, counseling, emotional-wellness services and therapy-dog programs.
These initiatives are intended to provide additional emotional support and resources for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, working with qualified professionals and established community partners whenever appropriate.

Family Health & Essential Needs
Supporting qualifying individuals and families facing serious health-related financial challenges.
Genesis is exploring structured programs to assist qualifying individuals and families experiencing financial hardship associated with serious medical needs.
Potential assistance may include support for approved medical-related expenses, food and other essential family needs, subject to established eligibility requirements, available funding and appropriate Genesis approvals.

Genesis Mission of Hope is focused on developing community-impact initiatives that address health, wellness and essential needs together. The 2026–2027 priorities are designed to help Genesis build opportunities for collaboration with organizations that can contribute expertise, funding, services, technology, facilities, professional resources or other forms of support. Opportunities to Support Community Impact Genesis Mission of Hope welcomes conversations with foundations, corporations, healthcare organizations, universities and donors interested in supporting these 2026–2027 community-impact priorities. Support may help Genesis develop and expand initiatives addressing: Community Health & Mobile Wellness Preventive healthcare, screenings, wellness education and mobile/community-based outreach. Mental Health & Emotional Wellness Mental-health resources, counseling, emotional-wellness services and supportive initiatives. Family Health & Essential Needs Potential assistance addressing approved medical-related expenses, food and essential family needs for qualifying individuals and families.

As these priorities are further developed, Genesis will establish appropriate program information, implementation plans and measurable outcomes to support responsible funding and partnership decisions. 01 — TARGET POPULATION Who We Intend to Serve The individuals and families each initiative is intended to serve, with particular attention to communities experiencing unmet health, wellness or essential needs. 02 — GEOGRAPHIC AREA Where We Intend to Serve The Michigan communities and geographic areas where each initiative is intended to operate. 03 — SERVICES & ACTIVITIES What We Plan to Deliver The specific services, activities and community-based approaches associated with each initiative. 04 — REACH & PARTICIPATION Who We Aim to Reach Estimated numbers of individuals and families expected to participate or benefit as program plans are developed. 05 — MEASURABLE OUTCOMES How We Will Assess Impact Expected results and appropriate methods for evaluating and documenting community impact. 06 — FUNDING REQUIREMENTS What Support May Be Needed Program budgets and funding requirements as they are developed, reviewed and approved.
